I'm gonna call this video
avocado 101 so when you go to the store
you're gonna usually find the avocado
either too hard or too soft if it's too
hard that's the one you want you take it
home and let it soften if you want it to
last longer you put it in the fridge so
if you buy a couple ones and are hard
you take one out let it soften up to the
point you can push your thumb in there
just a little bit and you can feel a
give way if you're in the store and you
go to push and it gives in a lot leave
it there don't bother with it it's gonna
be have a lot of black on the inside
it's going to be past its ripeness it's
going to be going bad so the best way I
found a deal with the avocado is to go
ahead and cut it my hands getting away
the camera don't have a cameramen hold
it and so so you cut it like this all
the way around cross around both sides
then you go ahead and put it in two
pieces okay then you can see how much
black is in there we seem to have lucked
out this one's pretty good so you go
ahead and you cut it here in the middle
and cut across the cut across the back
here and you go ahead and the seed will
eventually pop out you'll get it in
summary dump the seed and you go ahead
and cut the other one here so first you
put it in half then you cut it into four
pieces so then you go ahead and stick
your thumb you start to peel the edge
off the back you stick your thumb in
there it's a little messy that's why the
paper towels on the Sun so you peel this
off so now we've got the avocado here I
throw it on the other paper on another
paper-plate and we get this one
separated peel it off now this has this
little nub here that's black and just
cut that off and get the other one here
go ahead and peel it off like that there
you go let's throw it on the plate and
we got this last one sometimes you have
a little trouble sometimes the skin will
stick a little bit so at this point I
usually go through the inspection part
if there's something I don't like
somewhere a little black I'm very
particular so if there's anything that
looks a little funny or odd I'm gonna
cut it off because that's just me on the
fusspot
all right so now we go ahead and we take
the the parts that have passed
inspection selection and slicing and
these are ready for the next phase which
is chopping them into bite-sized pieces
go ahead and chop them up the avocado is
one of the healthiest things you can eat
loaded with potassium magnesium and let
me tell you I always feel good after iq1
these avocados however I'm not
particularly fond of the taste so let me
wipe my hand let me tell you how Vacarro
is one messy free wipe my hands off with
my paper towel here so what do I do to
deal with the taste of the avocado well
for me I mean I want to eat the avocado
because it's so nutritious so I'll take
a little honey put it on a spoon here
now this he's a little hard you know I
need to warm that honey up and get it
softened up so then you take the spoon
and just kind of spread it around onto
the honey just kind of drizzle it around
so each piece has some

so each piece has a little bit of honey
on it so then you can go ahead and take
the spoon spoon the avocado and mmm not
bad of course the honey is dominating
but so that's how we deal with the
avocado here on the man cave while the
healthiest fruits you can eat
little green little slimy little creepy
some people just love it they think it's
great but anyway
