How to know when your child is ready for school

00:10encourage them to go to their kinder

00:12teacher or a teacher that is preparing

00:16the child for school but we also tell

00:18mum to have a look at how their child is

00:20around other families other children

00:23their age

00:25how they're going with

00:27looking at books at drawing those sorts

00:30of activities but we make sure that we

00:33encourage children to attend kinder and

00:37to use that expertise the other thing we

00:40encourage parents to do is to take their

00:42child for the three and a half year old

00:44developmental check that happens at the

00:46maternal and child health centers
