you
hey guys shun from Chancellor calm and
in this video I am going to show you how
to perform a factory reset or hard reset
on your HTC One in a smartphone when you
have forgotten the password and you are
not able to access the smartphone so to
get rid of this situation you need to
perform a factory reset to delete all of
the fingerprint scanning data or the pin
the password or the pattern you are
using to unlock your HTC One in any
smartphone but since you are not able to
remember the pin or the password or you
are not having the fingerprint scanner
working so how to do this because to
perform a factory reset you need to go
to the settings and since we are not
able to access the smartphone the menu
you cannot do a factory reset and delete
all of the stored pin pattern or the
password for how to do this the process
is pretty easy actually and it works on
HTC One a9 a rest of the HTC smart phone
and most of the Android smart phone as
well because the method is pretty much
same for all of the smart phones so what
you have to do first of all for example
let me show you the issue
so my device is locked now and when I am
trying to unlock it it's asking me the
pin if I don't know the pin it will keep
asking me you can see that I am trying
and it's showing in Turpan to unlock and
after some time it's even blocking me
from trying now it's showing a try again
in 20 seconds so I can't even try
further so this is a serious issue and
it's not allowing me to use my smart
phone my HTC One in any smart phone so
if I do not remember these pin or
password anymore I need to perform a
factory reset to remove this data from
its memory and start fresh but how to do
this so first of all just switch off
your smart phone
and once the device is switched off like
this you have to press and hold the
power key and the volume down key
together until the recovery menu is not
coming so right now the device is turned
off and I am going to press and hold the
power key and the volume down key
together for a long time until the
recovery menu is not coming on the
screen so here we go you can see there
is the HTC logo I am still pressing the
keys and here is the recovery menu you
can see it is having lots of options
showing it's showing that the bootloader
is logged right now of my device there
is some information and we are having
few options like system enforce your bar
code reboot to bootloader reboot to
download mode reboot power down check
smart s3 and factory reset so here is
our option that's called factory reset
this is what we need to do if you just
want to reboot you can go to the reboot
and start the device but we need to
perform a factory reset to delete the
pin or password or the pattern and
unlock our smart phone so to access and
use this menu you need to use the volume
key and the power key so to scroll
between these options you need to use
volume up and down key like this you can
see I am using the volume down to go
down and volume up to go up so just use
the volume key and come to the factory
reset option and once you are there to
select the option you need to press the
power key so once I will press the power
key my phone will reboot and the factory
resetting will start and after that I
will get a brand new phone the pin
password and everything will be removed
and I will have to start fresh like I
will have to select my region country
language the timezone the Wi-Fi password
and everything once again so let's tap
on
oh sorry press on
to reset now by using the power key like
this and you can see now the device is
rebooting and the factory reset will
start a battery icon will come with some
circles and the factory setting will be
started after that
so here we go and depending on how much
content you are having in your
smartphone it will take some time so
this is the method to perform a factory
reset of your HTC One a9 any of the HTC
a smartphone or Android smartphone you
have to switch off the device after that
you have to press the power key and
volume down key together until the
recovery menu is not coming once the
recovery menu is there just scroll and
go to the factory reset option using the
volume keys and once you are there just
use the power key to select this option
and after that a factory reset will be
performed and all of the content
application the pin password fingerprint
scan scanning data will be deleted from
a smartphone and you will have a fresh
new phone in terms of content and UI so
this is how you can delete the password
protection from your HTC One a9 or any
of the Android Android smartphones so
