you know I'll be showing you how to open
up your GE washing machine and that will
give you access so that you can look at
the tub and the motor let's use is a
scraper it's thin enough to allow me to
get in between this little groove and in
here is like a little spring and you'll
basically have to shove this in and once
you shove it in you'll pull out the
panel toward you
here's just kind of a close-up so you
can see it right there and you're
basically just pushing inside very
gently and then once you push that in
you'll be able to pull this forward
you'll hear him push end and then it'll
pull out obviously you'll have to do
both sides now once you open it there's
little Clips right here you're basically
just going to pull up and out toward you
say you have an issue with vibration or
you want to just basically diagnose the
motor or any interior component I'll
show you how to do that with this off
here on the lid you have a magnet and
whenever this magnet touches this right
here the switch it'll activate and
engage so we're gonna do simply is we're
going to remove the two screws on the
side and then we're going to put the
magnet here and that will allow us to
bypass with the lid open in diagnosing
any issues with the washer we're
basically going to put it right on top
of the switch
right now I'm gonna put it in the spin
cycle
I could hear it engaging it's gonna take
a few minutes for it to start spinning
because see here starting to spin and
now we're able
to look inside of the GE wash
if for any reason you want to disengage
it just simply
in a spin
just simply pull the magnet put it back
together you're going to put your bottom
grooves inside those clips and then
we're going to push it up I remember
when you push it up there's little
plastic clips that have to go into this
insert so you may have to push it and
then lift slightly at the same time to
make sure that the little plastic clip
goes into the insert to get it in go
ahead and just push it in firmly this
