hi this is a quick video for anyone who
finds themselves in the same predicament
as me I have a cheap digital safe the
battery went flat so I couldn't open
using the combination and I have lost
the key now if you're in this particular
I would first recommend that you try
another method which is to drop the safe
from a height onto a mattress whilst
putting pressure on the release knob
here and turning it that does work on
some models unfortunately this model it
doesn't
I think they've updated the mechanism
they realized that there was a bit of a
flaw in the design there so in my case
that wasn't an option I had to make the
decision that actually I'm prepared to
destroy the safe this sort of safe form
Amazon is about 30 quid so at the end of
the day from my perspective what was
inside was far more valuable it wasn't
just money it was documents and stuff so
I thought I'd share with you the
solution to this which is and as I say
this is actually a destructive method so
only do this if what's inside your safe
is worth more than the value of the safe
the first thing you do is you remove
thumbs here we've done it one which is
what completely but it's very easy just
use a screwdriver just yank it off and
what you will find is the key is exposed
all right
use a pair of more grips around the lock
and the safe is open apologies the safe
manufacturers but I think anyone who has
a self of this sort of level is not
seriously expecting you to stop a
serious burglar hopefully this is of
help particular people like us where
there's valuable documents inside which
we need to get to if there are documents
and the batteries run flat and we've
stupidly lost the key hopefully doesn't
help
