okay in this video I'll show you how to
do a full factory restore on any Dell
laptop computer this particular one is a
Dell Latitude is an Edward five four
seven zero and so what you want to do is
you want to make sure it's plugged up
and when you power it on you're going to
tap the f8 button you see it up there on
the upper right deficit frank eight
button multiple times when you see the
Dell logo right here it doesn't catch
and you can tell if it's a catch because
it goes directly into the operating
system so what you're going to do is
power it down and you want to redo it
and tap f8 again when you power it on
now remember a factory full factory
reset wipes out all your files all your
pictures and whatever if you want to
completely clean it out and just have
your operating system to add a box state
and you'll see here that it catches
right now and the way you know that it
catches and that it's going to go into
where you want to go to factory restore
is it'll have a little icon down there
on the bottom it that says please wait
and that now you know you're went to the
right place let's give it a couple of
seconds this particular laptop has
Windows 10 on it but again it will work
with ten seven eight and what you want
to do is you want to click up here and
then you want to click troubleshoot so
what you want to do is you want to
choose reset this PC and then from here
you can't keep your files but if you've
got like a virus or something you want
to remove everything you want to remove
everything to put it two out of box
state and then from there you're good
just follow the directions it usually
takes about thirty minutes thanks for
