[Music]
this is sophie and she is a bichon
there i start by doing a relaxing
massage during the bath so she could
feel way more comfortable and of course
relaxed the preparation of the coat it's
the most important step in the grooming
process a good bath a good drying and a
good brushing it's what makes the coat
look excellent for when i'm grooming
them
now i will start the scissoring on her
legs
i start on the top then going all the
way to her paws
there you could see that i'm always
using the comb to fluffy the hair before
trimming it
i'm doing some markings with the curved
shear on the back of her leg
[Music]
her fur is very firm and so pretty to
work on which means that we need to
value the work with shears
using the straight shear i will be
taking just the excess off from her legs
[Music]
i'm rounding her paws with the curved
shear
whenever possible leave their paws on
the table while rounding it because it's
safer than holding it
now on her belly i'm using a curved
shear and i will also be using the same
shear to do her size
[Music]
on her legs i'm using a straight chunker
shirt to do some finishing touches and
to remove those marking that i did using
the straight shear
pay attention to the details
carving her so she looks even more
pretty than when she first came
right there i'm using the straight shear
to do the belly
and to take some excess from the leg too
and there i'm using the curved shear to
remove the marking that the straight
shear did and with this shear i'm also
rounding it very well
now doing her bichon face
i cleaned from one corner of her eyes to
the other using the clipper
and then
with the curved shear i'm doing some
markings so she has that angry
expression
one important thing that i can't forget
to advise you guys is that don't blow
those hairs that we just cleaned it
could go to the dog's eyeball and it
could cause a severe damage to their
eyes instead use the comb to take those
hairs out
[Music]
from this angle you can already see the
angry expression

i fluffed her hair with the comb first
then from one nostril to the other i
used the clipper to get rid of those
excess hair
after that i used my curved shear to do
some finishing touches on her mouth
now doing her ears i did some markings
from the back to the front so it looks
even
do the same thing on the other side
always remembering that the cartilage is
fragile and it's something that needs an
extra attention
[Music]
now with the curved jumper shear i'm
rounding her face and i'm just taking
some ends off
she still doesn't have enough hair to
get it like a circle so i'm letting it
grow first
we have new dog grooming tips every day
there i used my curd shear again to take
some ends that i saw after i used my
chunker shear
[Music]
to do her top knot i first fluffed her
hair and then with the same curved
chunker shear i took just enough hair to
get it all rounded and like a circle
to do some finishing touches on her i'm
using my thinner sheer
i used it all around her face and ears
then on her chin i just took some excess
off
look at this pretty little angry face so
cute
okay and then here she is all pretty to
go home
