How to get rid of temporary setting on honeywell thermostat

hey guys welcome to the video today in
today's video i am going to explain the
difference between temporary hold and
permanent hold on this honeywell pro
series thermostat and i do have other
videos on this honeywell pro series
thermostat and if you're interested in
learning more about that i'll link that
playlist at the end of this video and
like i said if you're interested and
have time please check that playlist out
so okay so right now we can see that the
thermostat is following schedule it's
currently 65 degrees in here and the
schedule is set at 65 degrees currently
and by the way i do have a video that
shows you how to program a schedule on
this honeywell pro series thermostat and
that will be in the playlist that i link
at the end of this video
so if we hit the plus or the minus
button here we can override the
temperature to whatever we want it to be
so if we put it to 70 here it starts off
on temporary hold and if you hit the
hold button here you can change that
between you know currently now permanent
hold or temporary hold whatever you want
it to be so the difference is temporary
hold
will override the temperature so it'll
override to 70 degree 70 degrees until
the next schedule change and then when
there's a schedule change in the program
schedule that you have that will take
effect again um now if we go back into
uh you know changing the temperature and
we change the hold to permanent hold
permanent hold will take effect uh you
know indefinitely until you come back to
the thermostat
and cancel out the permanent hold so and
to cancel out the permanent or temporary
hold if you hit the menu button here
it the first option that pops up is hold
and then you can hit the cancel button
and it will cancel out the temporary or
permanent hold that you've set so i hope
that and it goes right back into
following schedules so i hope that this
