so I'm going to show you how to kill a
tree stump
I just cut this tree down this morning
with chainsaw and now is the best time
to apply a herbicide right after you
kill it
and if you remember from tree growth 101
the tree gets all its nutrients and
water through the cambium layer on the
outside so I'm just going to apply
roundup concentrate
I'm not going to mix it with the foam
brush you could use this a regular
paintbrush apply that around the edge
I'm also going to drill a few holes
around the edge just to make sure I get
a little bit more in there and that
should do it
[Music]
alright now I'll just dip the brush in
here actually let's clean off the
shavings here to clean the tree off I
had cut this down a couple years ago and
never got to apply in the roundup and oh
my gosh it just started rolling up crazy
and I don't want that to happen again
so this squeeze a little bit of more
concentrate down in those holes if you
can
just trying to get a little bit of extra
down in those holes make sure you get
some good coverage I don't even know
that that's absolutely necessary but it
only takes two extra minute or so so to
me it's worth it there you have it that
should do it this tree should eventually
die off and no shoots will come back
