okay so your computer has been infected
with the rocket tab ads it's basically
ad aware adware and what we're going to
do is we're going to remove it and all
three browsers starting off with Google
Chrome then Internet Explorer and then
Firefox okay it's going to be three
steps it should take you one minute
first thing you want to do is you want
to go into your control panel into your
add/remove programs and what you want to
do from here is you look for rocket tab
what you can do is you can go in a
search up here you can type in like
rocket and look for rocket tap now the
thing is if rocket tab is not in here
what you want to look and the thing is
it can be installed in different names -
- for you so you also want to look at
this if you see this this name here if
you see browser safeguard in your
control panel
get rid of it another thing is - it may
be under a different name what you can
do is you can type in like browser or
browse or protect or it can do it or
save or add or ads it could be under any
name so it's in your control panel
somewhere most likely it's going to be
under the name rocket tab though but I
know for some of you it's going to be
browser safeguard anyways once you
install that that'll be the first step
second step to do is open up your
browser so one set up a Google Chrome
open up Google Chrome what you do is you
open up Google Chrome and we'll click on
this it'll be a wrench or this three bar
prong and you want to go all the way
down to settings and then we look in
extensions go on extensions if you have
rocket atom here go ahead and delete it
last have to do is same same same page
and what you want to do is you want to
click on settings
what we're going to do is we're going to
reset Google Chrome we're going to reset
the browser scroll all the way down and
down here where it says show advanced
settings click on that and then again
scroll all the way down to the very
bottom and it says right here it says
reset browser setting this is the last
step
reset google chrome take note once you
reset any browser it's going to delete
all your browsing history your temporary
internet files your favorites and
everything so take note you have favors
anyone save it you know save those uh
those favorites somewhere else and then
plug it back into Google Chrome once you
reset close down Google Chrome reopen
and rocket tab should be gone now let's
move to Internet Explorer okay so I'm
assuming you ready did the first step
you went into the control panel he
removed it now open up Internet Explorer
and click on this wrench or it could be
a three horizontal bars depending on
your your IE version and then click on
manage add-ons under tools and
extensions look for rocket tab this in
here what you want to do is you want to
disable it click on disable now the last
step go back into that wrench where
rivers Antle bars and it's how we want
to go to Internet Options internet
options we want to click on this
Advanced tab very n Advanced tab
and from here you can see it says reset
click on reset go ahead and reset don't
forget you reset it's going to delete
your browsing history your temp internet
file temporary Internet files and your
favorites once you reset close reopen
rocket tab will be gone next thing let's
move to Mozilla Firefox okay so open up
Mozilla Firefox and I'm assuming you
ready did step one was to remove it out
of your control panel now what you want
to do is you want to click up here on
the top left hand corner click that drop
down menu and then you want to click on
add-ons now the thing is if depending on
what version you have if you don't have
this but
here what you can do is you can go click
on Tools in the menu bar if you don't
have your menu bar just right click
click on menu bar and this will pop up
you just click on Tools click on Tools
and you can go on the add-ons there as
well
once your add-ons make sure it's
highlighting extensions you see rockin
tab in here you want to go ahead and you
want to remove it last step to do is
again you want to you want to go into
help well I already have the menu bar
tools up here so we can do is go to
tools and then go to I'm sorry actually
you go to help and you go to
troubleshooting information then you
look on the right-hand side and you
click on reset Firefox don't forget what
you did it do this you're going to
delete all your browsing history and
your favorites your bookmarks or
temporary Internet files now and then
you close a Firefox and reopen now the
thing is if you don't have this up here
I gotta have this up here originally
another way you can go is to click to
get into the reset menu is click on this
orange Firefox tab click on that and
from here you can go to help and then
you go to troubleshooting information
and then right from here again you can
go ahead and reset Firefox once you
reset it close Firefox reopen and it
will be gone any comments or anything
comment below any subs and likes would
be appreciated too thanks
