hello there my name is Lola Kate welcome
to my channel so in today's video I'm
gonna show you how you can strip out
your mu permanent hair color or your
fashion color without using bleach on
your hair so this method I like to use
is bleach free and it doesn't change the
integrity of your hair it doesn't damage
your hair or destroy your hair like
bleach can or if you've already pre
lightened your hair in the past and you
just know that your has not ready to
handle any more bleach because it will
turn into jelly so this method I like to
use is a really safe way of removing any
unwanted fashion color or color you just
want to remove all pale out a little bit
without changing the integrity of your
hair so if you'd like to see this
magical method please continue watching
now I'm just going to show you
everything you will need first of all
you will need a bowl and a brush this
bowl size is great if you've got short
hair but if you've got Rapunzel with
hair like I do at the moment you gonna
need a bigger bowl I'm gonna use this
large bowl today just so it can all fit
in here
so what you will need is ten bowl
peroxide violet toning shampoo it
doesn't have to be any particular brand
just a shampoo that is purple looks like
this has a tone already image sorry it's
just a blonde shampoo dishwashing liquid
and the magical ingredient drumroll
bicarb soda which most of you will more
than likely have this lying around
somewhere at home so first I'm going to
add the bicarb soda
hurry up top so the box of bicarb soda
is 500 gram and that is the amount I put
into my large bowl so just go by your
hand like if you've got medium length
hair or shorter length hair probably
half the amount I would say and I'm just
going by consistency now to the bicarb
soda I am popping in the 10 ball or the
3% peroxide and same thing you just want
to go buy kits just
you want to create like a paste just
like you would a normal hair color so
now I'm just mixing the ten ball and the
bicarb soda just so it's a smooth creamy
consistency okay that looks about
perfect not too runny and not too thick
as well just enough to sort of milk
through each section so that's that's
probably the right consistency and now
just a little bit of dishwashing liquid
probably about two good squeezes I'll
show you one and two so I'm mixing that
in English now I'm just gonna add the
violet shampoo the blonde shampoo heat
and that's just gonna turn the hair as
well okay so this is the consistency
here I would say it's similar to an
egg-white consistency so not too runny
and not too creamy as well it's in
between so that's it there okay so now I
am going to put it through my head so
with my hair a lot of my fashion color
has washed out through the top but where
my extensions are and also my underneath
color where it's not as light as the top
that's where the fashion colors really
stubborn and it's holding on and it's
not washing out as well as I would like
to well I mean it still looks cool but
I'm just over there I'm over this vibe
and it would like a different vibe a
blunt vibe that's what I'm aiming to
teach they is to fade out a lot of the
orange and the Pink's happening
throughout here so yeah so we'll see how
it goes okay so I've just put a color
cape on to protect my clothing and also
just some gloves as well just so I don't
dry my hands out with I called so dark
so now I'm just gonna go through and
start applying the bottom section so you
just put it through like you would any
other hair color if your coloring your
hair at home with a semi permanent hair
dye
so starting from the underneath and just
patching it on just milking it through
like so it's making sure that you don't
miss any sections so just working it
through it and that's why also it's good
that the mixture is a little bit on the
runny aside rather than too thick and
creamy just so you can get through your
hair faster if this is your first time
here just to let you know I actually am
a professional hair stylist it's whatnot
that's what I do for work this is a
little trick I like to do and I hope you
find this method helpful if you have any
hair related questions I'd be happy to
answer them for your comment below and I
will get back to you that's why you
should wear something to protect your
clothes cause you're gonna paint your
body as well and I can already see that
the fashion color is actually starting
to move it's starting to lift I can tell
I don't know if you can see it on camera
but it's definitely not as vibrant as
what it was two minutes ago so so far so
good okay so now I'm just gonna move on
to the next section of hair with my hair
styled like this live with the orange a
gingery tones coming through here and
the blonde at the front if you like
ginger spice
just to show you the first section I've
applied here see how it's starting to
lift already we've only been on there
for a few minutes guys so I'm just
making sure I really work it through
just so I don't miss any sections of
hair just cuz I don't want orange
streaks sorry I'm feeling a little bit
sad actually so did love the coral
moment you know okay so I've just
finished applying bean mixture and
already the fashion color has lifted out
of my hair but I am going to leave the
baking soda mixture in for another 30
minutes and then I will rinse it out and
show you the results okay so this is the
final result here after waiting 45
minutes with the mixture in my hair
patty had some Oreos watched an episode
of Empire and then I ruin start my color
it's it lifted really well it removed
all of the fashion color all of the
previous semi-permanent color all of the
pink all of the orange
all of the neon yellow that I had in
there it completely removed everything
and so then my hair was like a really
light yellowy blond because it also
removed any toner that I had previously
last time I bleached my hair so all that
was God's pretty much a raw yellow blond
color
so then after thoroughly rinsing the
mixture really well I did my first
shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo for
colored hair then I rinsed that out and
then the second shampoo that I did I
used the violet blonde shampoo by fudge
and I actually left that on for 20
minutes for anyone who doesn't know what
that is it is a toning shampoo for
blonde hair and it basically just
counteracts any unwanted yellow brassy
Orange II turns from your hair and just
turns it out the longer you
leave it the more that it's going to
turn your head that's why it now my hair
is this really icy ashy blonde color I'm
so happy with the toning situation
underneath where my hair was more orange
it's kind of more yellowy and on top
it's really icy and clean I'm really
happy with that even though it is a few
different tones but that's fine if you
were interested in the shampoo I'll
leave a link below so if you want to
check it out that's it there so after
waiting 20 minutes with the violet
toning shampoo I rinsed that out and did
a conditioning treatment and left that
in for 20 minutes
had a cup of tea actually and then I
rinse to that out and then just
blow-dried my hair and this is where it
at right now and the condition of my
hair feels amazing I have not damaged my
hair at all which is a lot of the time
if you're gonna strip your hair it's
gonna dry out your hair a lot so this
didn't damage my hair whatsoever so I
highly recommend this process if you are
worried about the condition of your hair
if you don't want to dry it out or
damage it you don't want to use bleach
on your hair this is a great alternative
so that is it for today's video thank
