oh did you notice anything this is why
it visited is it welcome to the family
little gasp some of you that may or may
not be aware I actually it was a read a
very short time ago and the top of my
head looked a little something like this
[Music]
while the colors changed this one stupid
patient still here but due to
circumstances I'm insane I just really
felt the need to be blogging it all so
I'm going to preemptively involve it for
how many times I'm probably going to
touch my hairs resume also thank you I
was this day I'll be coming along again
and obviously it happened so I just
figured I would share me journey with
you all this is in no way meant to be a
tutorial because I am in no way a
professional life barely managed to get
pants on my body in the morning by this
video I will be sharing with you what I
did things that I wish I hadn't been
with any tips tricks and may have
learned a lot of my way I did so much
stuff like there's a lot of stuff I'm
gonna warn you some of them are
unnecessary and I wouldn't have done
maybe if I had come across the video
like this I would have been able to save
myself a step tense we're here together
holding so as I said I'm under a lot of
hair colors in my life and typically
when I go from one color to a completely
different color I actually like to just
get it professionally done and then
after that all the touch-ups and just
like minor changes I'll just do myself
so I actually like a month ago made an
appointment to have my hair
professionally guy and I made it on
Valentine's Day like I was ready to
phone it was gonna be a gift to myself I
was willing to spend the ridiculous
amount of money was gonna cost me to get
my hair down 10 my hey Laurence you're
fantastic
well I was also ready to take quite a
bit of damage to my hair
I was ready all accounts but apparently
the world below
aware of that because I went into the
appointment the girl told me that there
was no issues you can be able to get my
hair blonde much less platinum like I
told you I wanted but he was really nice
about it and I appreciate her honesty
you know she literally should cut off
like a piece I mean obviously I don't
know I removed and she stuck there
bleach on it and she put their color
remover on it and she says the problem
was that because there was so much red
in my hair and I had several coats of
red on it so motion be able to do for me
is get it to like a pink I wasn't really
willing to spend a bunch of money that
there's done to my hair's it wasn't
gonna turn out how I wanted it so I felt
that because I pretty much as like a
lift so because are probably several is
in this video and you likely know by now
I'm kind of in that case so the thing is
is that when I get an idea in my head
here is there a little to no chance that
that is not going to happen
I look up everything one possibly could
on how to consider my dear how I wanted
she went this play I'm feeling pretty
good about having a fair chance of being
able to do it myself I also felt like I
had a fair chance of ending up bald but
that was a shame to lose cake I was like
I think the Sally's look at some things
and like maybe and I'll decide that
whether I'm going to go through all this
suddenly five minutes later I'm walking
out with you know forty six dollars
things escalated so quickly and
everything I bought and use will be
nicely and clearly written in the
description box if you do want to use
exactly what I use or just you know but
now I felt like I had everything that I
needed to start before doing anything
would actually slathered my hair in
coconut oil and there's a blessing it
overnight did you've never heard of this
before
hello my newborn child there so always
doing this if you prefer you can take
just like a team spoon in coconut oil
and put it in the microwave for a couple
of seconds you can also put on the stove
for a few minutes and get it to a really
liquid consistency and then just let it
into your hair or sometime just going
totally beat what I do is I'll actually
just scoop some out and warm it up in
the palms of my hand and then use that
to work it in starting at the end and
then going up to the top of my hair and
just pile it on top throw a cat but if
you move me the hand
company so if you're like me and you're
watching this video because you're a
patient and want to make all this happen
real fast how you really highly
recommend at least doing that but
ideally if you are in more patients and
most likely better person than I am what
you would ideally do is if you're trying
to route your hair try and wash as much
of it out as possible a lot of people
would recommend using dish soap and just
a cheap shampoo it's just everyday it
just wash it trying to as much as are
Retta as you can and while trying to
strip all that run out put as many
leave-in conditioners and like
moisturizers and Cohen oil and whatever
you have in it to try and conserve any
moisture - a lot because you're
basically about to marry your hands and
doing that for a couple of weeks is
ideal but I have a dummy angel it's okay
I'm kind of professional but my logic
was I needed to get the red out of my
hair before doing anything you have baby
fish untouched virgin hair you do not
need this stuff else but I have several
coats of red dye on top of a silver dye
on top of a blue dye on top of I don't
even know what my real hair color is at
this point it was the same red diet and
here kids put bleach on that and expect
it to go again because all I wanna do is
lighten it thus turning pink so I do is
it actually the color stripper before
doing anything because I really used
with one only color thing it comes with
three different bottles and I literally
just follow the instructions
heeda's easy I am so scared from my hand
this is goodbye happy healthy hair does
smell the greatest well let the games
begin
[Music]
you cover loosely with a plastic
processing cat I don't have one of those
Oh
next case any of you go do this yourself
just so you know I used not even half of
the whole thing keep in mind I have very
fine and thin and shorter hair all right
I wash my hair out I wasn't able to
actually see anything very long enough I
could just like pull the strands look at
this together there probably won't be
any difference this is so dramatic
let's see well uh oh yeah well Lisa
discomfort so this is actually right
here before the color remover and then
this is after my hair is definitely
lighter it's more of a strawberry blonde
kind of brown I just named all five
color they did get quite a bit of the
red out I'm actually happy with how it
turned out so it was a lot more red than
this but it doesn't feel you know dry or
damaged or anything so that's nice I
know that some damage probably occurred
there's no way you stripped all this
color out of my hair without ruining it
a bit but I must say still feels okay
nothing's ripping thick into my head I'm
so afraid it's going to break off so in
my hopes to not crisp my hair right out
I intentionally started also this
process on a day where I knew it wasn't
gonna have to go and do anything real or
see anyone important for at least two
days so after the color remover I again
just slided mine area coconut oil and
went to sleep and left it alone for 24
hours and one of the biggest sense that
I can offer you as an enough traditional
is before to me any sort of waking to
your hair slam it in coconut oil it will
make any difference in the color turn
out of your hair with a lightening
process but it does sort of act as a
barrier and help preserve some of your
hair quality so while the color remover
did get quite a bit of that red out I
still felt like there was too much to go
full-on bleaching with it so it hopes to
get the rest of that out I actually did
a bleach wash a bleach wash is basically
just a milder way of lightning or
moving color from your hair so to make a
leech wash I use about 1/2 a cup of 20
ounce developer and mix it with half a
cup of bleach and then added a whole cup
of shampoo in this I planted a lot more
than I really ended up meeting however
much you may do you want to make sure
that you're doing a 1 to 1 to 2 ratio so
here's one I made my first mistake
relates the prism that I'm aware of
the belief that I'm using is a powder
bleach and what I did and it wasn't
blown a big deal I'm trying to give you
everything so where I think I made a
mistake is that I put the powder and
first then I put the developer into the
liquid and just mixing that was just
kind of difficult and I felt like the
powder was going everywhere and you want
to be really careful with the mouth of
this and I just felt like this is a
foolish way of mix it really wasn't a
big deal it just took me like a thousand
years longer mix everything that it
should so every time I did it from here
on out I would actually put in a portion
of the lipids and an equal portion of
the powder mix it and then repeat just
to make sure everything really is mixed
together properly
yeah well mix reso I start applying it
from the bottom of my hair up trying and
trying my best to stay away from my room
let's get my little patchy um my bad you
remember I was like am I gonna get me
roots hard cause the light keeps like
reflecting on it and it does look
lighter I did shampoo the bleach wash
out but I didn't put conditioner on it
like where I'm at so hopefully I'll fix
it so once more like a broken record
I covered my hair coconut oil and wait
another 12 hours before doing anything
further
obviously cousin oil isn't going to be a
save all and 12 hours isn't that long at
the time but I do sort of feel like even
that short amount of time that little
bit of moisture will help to some degree
so now I was going to fill on
bleach in my head again so this time is
now come both Jeremy little layer I'm
sorry because I'm going to believe she
is my finest work
now again I'm going to try my very best
to not get it all on my roots because
I'm using a really high developer and
once you start getting that high that's
how you get like birds on your scalp
let's let my hair off into four seconds
and mixed up the bleach I use a 1 to 2
ratio with a 40 volume developer for me
volume is pretty dang high so it will do
more damage than say a 10 or 20 or 30
but I wanted a really high lift so
that's why I chose that and now you're
worn so after mixing identify the bleach
trying to stay away from my room and let
it awkward just over 20 minutes it
probably could have and should have left
it on just a bit longer but I really was
so afraid of my hair just like breaking
off that I kind of wished out and just
washed it out so this is where I made
another mistake with the color that my
hair was at this time I really should
have I think is bleached it one more
time the reason I did it was because my
hair was pretty light and I was really
afraid of bleach so I thought that I
would be okay with just going ahead and
killing it but I'm now going to do
hopefully hopefully the left that wishes
to tone my hair because I'm hoping that
we'll get all the brass hands of the
hotel her is it won't actually lighten
your hair at all it will change toes oh
we got a little so if you're going to do
this and your hair is the same color
that - you want platinum blonde hair
bleach it again with the developer that
isn't as high as the ones who originally
use so if you go to the for you like I
did maybe this time do a 20 or in 1830
I'm not telling you what to do not
professional I don't know good day
unfortunately I was not aware of it so I
want to add apply to daughters what I'm
going to do is take the same bottle and
with the 20 volume developer again I'm
actually just going to fill this bottle
twice pour it in just to make sure all
the amounts are exact I got my hair
looked like this it was a bad color by
any mean it was like it's actually not
quite dirty blue wasn't the worst look
I've ever had it just wasn't the colors
that I want well I felt like I was going
to do more jumps in my hair but
especially especially if you use a toner
especially the t14 and really high
toners like that I'll do anything else
to your hair for at least 24 hours after
it I actually waited a couple days again
lives including all the leave-in
conditioners
could put in my hair so that I know
myself isn't it really I think what I've
never got again it's just bleached my
hair one more time as then stuck the
toner on it I was really afraid that I
wouldn't get the color that I want I
don't know a lot of myself in so I was
tempted to go back to my old renomii box
today
so my clear mistake I don't recommend
box die there is so much crap and some
update that is not good for your hair
thank the person that used it but when I
was in high school and I have fresher
baby virgin hair I used to use box set
all the time to get it really really
white and I never failed me the guy in
retrospect I probably wouldn't have done
a lot I was Francoise went ahead and put
a box on my head the last night I did
sleep in coconut oil so there is still
some romaine I'm now going to throw it
back to high school and use some crappy
box day well well played so the diamond
you did did it closer to platinum I like
saw what it was trying to do but for
some reason all the crud what I'm doing
to my head probably just mixed all
together
hey and that red was still there and
just like really holding on my hair was
closer to how I wanted to look but I'm
going to squeeze pgq to it so this is
left for left with everything definitely
feels drier but it doesn't feel dead to
be done with this there's tiny hints of
leek and because I don't want anything
that same mistakes that I just made by
just going straight to toning it to the
same thing I did before and just did
another bleach wash on it because at
this point I've nailed the we ship to
time so I thought that we'd wash it
helps get rid of the rest of the
brightness of a filmmaker but hopefully
not completely fry it but is the exact
same things I did before and then use
the exact same toner as before and he'll
open apart I probably in the next month
will get it too
a bit lighter and get it more white
instead of this platinum color because I
did all this stuff to my hair I'm happy
with this color and it got to platinum
which is what I want so for at least a
month it's not a little bit longer I'm
probably just going to let this sit
while I continue to give it as much
moisture and love and affection as I
can't really need a trim also I hear it
would look better we just think we just
cut this up so hopefully this helps in
some way I mean I got what the heck I'm
doing and I still have this going to see
the hair but if you can learn anything
from my mistakes then it was worth it
right but hope you enjoyed this video
and that it helped thank you so much for
watching
go put a mask on your hair maybe get a
trim and how there's a bun
