(gentle music)
- Hey guys, (laughs) so I've had a good cry today
and I now need to fix this
'cause I plan on seeing friends and going out.
And I wanted to just show you
what I would do when you've cried your eyes out
and you're red and you need to kind of get it together,
put on some makeup and move forward.
(laughs)
So when I cry my eyes do change colors,
my scars appear, I have the redness right here
and my eyes get a little bit swollen.
So, we need to cool everything down
and I like to keep a lot of things in the refrigerator.
So instead of putting butter up here,
which I'm allergic to anyway,
we've got a toner that's nice and cool.
We have rosewater right here too.
I have some eye masks.
These are the Ground Plan eye masks I talk about.
This behind is incredible.
These are from Biologique Recherche.
So the main first steps,
I'm going to spray my face with this
now that been in the fridge it's nice and cool.
I'm going to put these on my eyes
and then this after.
I'm going to put now this mask in the fridge
while I'm doing all this and it's gonna cool down.
Then I can put this on after I finish
getting rid of all the inflammation and relaxing.
First step is I want to cool down my face
since this has been in the fridge.
Already feels better.
The rosewater is going to be very calming,
as well as the aloe.
I'm lightly touching the face
so I can kind of move some of the fluid
that's built up now.
As I'm doing this with each breath,
I'm also just kind of giving myself love.
Through touch, and being present,
and knowing that everything passes
and this moment's not forever.
And life gets hard sometimes.
But not denying my feelings
and my sadness is important.
I know that it sounds weird to be talking about it
when we're just trying to get rid
of the puffiness after we've been crying.
But we need to address mentally
what's going on so that our mind can clear.
And that we can start de-stressing,
'cause that stress is also gonna be causing
all of this redness.
And more tears later if I don't catch it now,
and feel it, honor it, and let it go.
All right, now for the good stuff, you guys.
These are the Cryo-Sticks from Biologique Recherche.
I love that it comes in the container.
You do not put these in the freezer
this only goes in the refrigerator.
And they look like this.
They're nice and cold.
They have this nice handle right here.
There's like liquid inside,
which is quite interesting.
These feel so good.
So you can lay these on the eyes
You can do a little facial massage with these
and just kind of...
Oh, feels so good.
This is 10 times better than your jade roller in a fridge.
If the face is really dry,
you should rehydrate it with the toner
You could do a serum as well with this,
but I'm gonna be doing a face mask after this
so I don't want any serum or oils on the face
to block what I'm going to put on.
So I just do it lightly.
Don't pull at the skin too hard.
And then I'm going to sit back for a little bit
and lay these on my eyes.
I think that would be difficult
to show you guys.
I'll still be holding onto them
and doing pressure points
and cooling the eye area.
"So why were you crying Lacy?
"Why are we watching this video?
"We really want to know why you were crying."
Today is the third day
that Keith's dad has been here now.
He's moved in with us.
And we moved the chair back that my dad used to sit in.
And he's watching football because it's Saturday
and the Alabama game is on and that's great
but looking over at him,
I have to do this all over again.
Looking over at him, it just reminds me of my dad,
and I just wish it was my dad.
I didn't want to be crying in these videos
but I have to be real too, right?
And maybe some of you guys understand
what I'm going through.
Just taking each day as it comes
because when I think of more days ahead
and what are we going to do, this?
And it just gets too big,
And I can't handle it, I can't breathe.
So I have to just take every moment as it comes.
Be grateful.
I'm so happy that Ralph is here
instead of being alone in a nursing home.
Ralph has a tumor the size of a golf ball
in his throat.
On top of already having major strokes
a few years ago, and it doesn't look good.
But you know that's life, right?
With dad having only been gone for six months.
And we moved him in in December.
So it's like it's just all over again.
(heavy sighing)
Another thing, though, that has been good
is that we found a house finally.
We moved back almost four years ago now from Asia.
And we've been looking for a house here in Vegas
and it's gotten to the point
where I was about to give up.
We were looking out for a house in Alabama
and we found this place, and it's so perfect.
It's literally what I was daydreaming about.
And putting it out into the world
and I'm totally snottin' on this video,
that's awesome Lace.
I even wanted a water view in Vegas
Yeah, right, unless you're going to live in Lake Las Vegas.
You guys, if you're ever bored,
go look at this like $7 million home
on like Las Vegas.
It is incredible.
You have your own little private beach.
It's insane.
It's my dream home. (laughs)
Live next to Celine Dion.
Feeling a little bit better, talking it out,
probably won't even post this video.
So many things you guys,
but you just have to be grateful
with life and how precious it is.
And when you have the good moments, cherish them.
And when you have the bad moments,
know that you'll get through this.
So I'm going to sit back while these are still cool
and I will be back in a moment.
Okay we sat back for five minutes,
I did some nice deep breathing
and I'm going to put on some nice mint lip balm
so it can be a nice cooling effect on my lips.
I already put on one coat and I was like,
"I should probably show you guys this
"before I turn on the camera again."
I'm gonna put on these eye masks now.
And they're so fine.
These are from Ground Plan.
This is a clean Korean brand.
I love a lot of their products.
I want to showcase them for you,
if you guys want to see them.
It's sandwiched on one,
you're just going to peel it back and apply.
I love these because they have the cloth on the outside
so especially if you're on a plane,
it's not gonna be all goopy and messy.
This though I really like,
because I can just lightly move the fluid
up and out as well.
I'm gonna leave these on for about 10 minutes
I don't want to leave them on too long.
When you leave masks on your face,
especially the paper ones,
these have a gel-like texture on the inside.
They are gonna start drawing out the moisture
back into the mask once they dry out.
So never leave them on too long.
Don't sleep in them.
The hydrogel masks because they retain
a lot more moisture for longer periods of time.
But, still, just make sure that you look at the directions
and if they don't have it or it's in Korean,
just know that 20 minutes max.
So I'm just gonna do this for about another three minutes
and then I'll be right back.
While I was lying back I was also
doing some box breathing, which was really helpful.
I think I've really calmed down a lot.
I'll put a link down below
if you guys wanna practice that.
I'm now going to take these off.
And it already seems like I've depuffed it a lot.
I also grabbed this out of the fridge,
this is the Diamond Radiance mask.
This is actually diamonds in this thing.
It's insane.
It's incredible.
I'm gonna read off the box for you guys
just because I do love this brand.
This is from Knesko.
For a box like this,
it's $150 but it's well worth it
and I'll get into why.
For this one specifically, it activates your crown chakra.
It's for healing and alignment.
So while I have this mask on,
I'm gonna be doing some tapping
and I'm also just going to be doing a lot of breathing.
So I think that this mask is gonna be
super complimentary to everything that I'm doing
just to calm down.
I feel a lot better.
The benefits of this mask is brightening,
hydrating, age defying, energizing.
It's for discoloration, dullness,
fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles.
The great thing about this mask is it is a clean mask.
It's all natural.
It's paraben free, cruelty free,
hypoallergenic, ophthalmologist approved, biodegradable.
The ingredients are great
and there's just a lot of wonderful things.
There's diamond power in this,
Marine Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid,
CoQ10, Jojoboa oil, Niacinamide, Rose essential oil
And all of these have amazing benefits.
I'll write it all down below
but I think this is a great one.
I have a gold one as well.
They have so many different types
and they're all infused with the gemstones
and I'm already feeling better talking skin care.
You guys might think that it's been weird
that I've been doing face masks and makeup
but those are the things that I get excited about
that make me feel good.
And I just instantly feel better.
It's strange and maybe it's a little superficial.
I don't know, it's something that makes me happy
and that I've loved for a really long time.
So another good thing about this mask
is that you can cut it
along the top right here with some scissors.
There's little trays in this
and you can reuse this three times.
So yes it's a little pricey
but at least you get a lot of use out of it.
I don't think a lot of people know that.
I wouldn't have known that
if I hadn't spoken to this wonderful lady
that works at Aria.
This is where I purchased these.
I'm not an affiliate.
I don't even have a code for you guys.
I will try to find a link of where you can buy them.
If you're in Las Vegas go to Aria Spa
and they sell these there.
I give these as gifts to everyone.
I did this mask when we were in Big Sur.
I gave it also to Bianca and Crystal and Farrah.
We all did these masks and it was a lot of fun.
They just feel good.
And when you feel good, you look good, right?
And that's the whole point of getting rid of this redness.
So, let's get this bad boy on.
I am gonna pull back my hair.
This is one of my favorites.
So I want to feel good,
I'm going to whip out the favorite Dior one.
It has the houndstooth which is beautiful, and then this.
So, we're gonna put our hair back.
And then I keep it always in the box that it comes with.
This would be a great Christmas present you guys.
Price point is around $250 to $300,
I think is what I spent.
I also got one for Crystal.
So we'll do a face mask Friday soon
both wearing our matching ones.
So I've already prepped my skin now.
If you guys want to know how to do that,
I'll also put the link down below.
I just want to make this video a little bit shorter.
And we're going to get into this mask.
We're going to cut along the top.
I like to start with the top part first.
Be really careful with your nails
because it can tear.
And then I start right here.
And I place it all.
Don't want to get it in your eyes.
Even though this is clean you still,
could have a lot of irritation.
I'm tilting it while I'm sliding it out
so the serum doesn't drip down.
And since this mask is a little bit heavier,
you should lay and that's what I'm going to do.
I'm going to do a little tapping and some breathing.
I'll be back in just a little bit.
All right guys so I'm back now.
I'm going to take this off.
There so I'm going to fold it back up
and here's the tray.
I'm going to slid it right back in.
I'm going to take the other mask tray out
and then I'm going to put that part in.
Just remember being careful when you're sliding it out.
There's still some serum in there.
We want to keep that serum in.
Usually I would probably just put that
all over my neck and chest
but because we're going to reuse these,
I want it still to have serum left over.
So I slid it back in and now I'm gonna put this
in a Ziploc bag and keep it in the fridge
and use it two more times.
So I just put that in the fridge,
I didn't want it to dry out.
I feel like my skin is still hydrated
but I'm gonna spray it another time real quick.
And I'm gonna put on something that I really do love.
And this is really all you need if you wanted it.
It's Impeccable Skin.
I swear I'm not sponsored, I just really,
really love this brand.
And this is such a great sunscreen
as well as moisturizing
and it's gonna cover all my redness.
And I think the best way to put it on
is either with clean fingers or I'm gonna use a brush
just so I can kind of really move it around.
I have my key card.
This one is Hong Kong because it makes me feel good.
So on the key card, just two pumps
is really all you need.
I find that if you try and do it
with a beauty blenders, it's gonna
be really hard to spread.
I'm gonna go to the face.
I'm gonna do another two pumps
so I can put it on my neck and chest
and any other areas just to cover up that need covering up.
So two more pumps on this.
I tap it a few times just to get it all over the bristles.
So I left my other eyelash curler at the studio.
So I'm using these Tweezerman ones, which are fine.
I'm gonna go in with the Honest Beauty.
This is the primer.
First.
I feel like this helps a lot too,
with waterproof mascaras.
If you've got the primer on it's not gonna
slide off as easily if you are crying later on.
If this was brand new, I'd blow on this a little bit.
Just to make it a little more tacky
but I have had this now for two months.
It's on it's last month before I toss it.
There's just something about putting on makeup
that is so soothing to me.
It just makes me feel better.
I'm going to put a coat of the Lily Lolo on now,
just to kind of open up the eyes a little more
and make my lashes look a little bigger.
I'm going to add a little definition to my brows
right in here.
So I'm using the Kimiko.
I always use the Kimiko.
So even though my skin is a little bit dewy,
I'm going to add a little bit of highlight with the RMS
just to some high points.
Take the emphasis off of any redness.
This is the RMS Magic Luminizer.
I always love this guy.
I've used it so much and it doesn't
even look like I've done anything.
So I'm just putting a little highlighter
to emphasize the top of my lip since I have my scar
that cuts right through here.
So this tends to be really flat so I wanna
give a little dimension.
I'm now going to line my lips just a little bit
and put on some lip balm and that's it.
This is Kjaer Weis.
This color is Mauve.
I'm just going to fill in the lip.
Just a little bit, rub my lips together.
Then I'm gonna to put a little bit
of the Hurraw! lip balm.
And that's it.
I don't want to put on too much makeup today.
I obviously don't know how
I'm going to handle the rest of the day.
I do feel a lot better.
I think I could go to the grocery store
or do some errands or if I'm gonna
be having to go downstairs in our building,
running into someone,
it wouldn't be like, "Oh my God, are you okay?"
What do you guys think?
I think I did a good job.
I know this is a weird video to post and make
but I feel like maybe you guys want to know
how to do this too and why not share it
and just talk about it a little bit.
Just get this out.
So thanks for hanging out with me,
letting me vent a little bit.
I hope to see you guys in the next one,
without being sad.
I wanna end this on a good note so
I am going to be showing you guys the house
in the next video.
And something that I'm excited about.
That we're moving into.
Something new that I think will help a lot.
Instead of being in the same apartment
and reliving everything that we just went through.
I think maybe a new change would be good.
So thanks again you guys for always being there for me,
hanging out with me,
and I will see you guys on the next one.
(blowing kiss)
(gentle music)
