hey guys Matt here detail king common oh
hey what's going on guys Matt here
detail king comm and today I want to
show you how to clean up vomit from your
carpet or upholstery on the inside of
your vehicle now I don't know about you
guys but one of those interior jobs that
can really be hard to stomach is
definitely cleaning up some vomit now as
important as it may be to make sure that
we pick up all the liquid and the chunks
of the throw-up what's really important
is making sure that we clean up what's
underneath which is all that Becht or
bacteria that can generate a lot of that
not just foul odors but definitely build
up some harmful molds on the inside of
your vehicle underneath of all the
fibers so we're going to do is we're
going to take our BIOS I'm to really
attack all that bacteria now our BIOS
I'm is a bacterial enzyme which is safe
to use on your carpets and upholstery
for cleaning up any of those organic
stains grease and oils now the first
thing that we want to do here is we want
to be able to scoop up all the thickness
of this substance instead of using a
towel now we want to use some type of
scoop like a spoon like I have here in
my hand or even a spatula of some sort
the reason being is if we go to use a
towel a towel can actually smudge and
push down any of the substance further
down into the fibers which all that's
doing is creating more work for us to
clean up later on so again we want to
take a scoop of some sort and go ahead
and scoop right underneath of the vomit
here the best that we can I don't know
about you guys but that's just a little
bit hard for me to stomach you can
already see there
just scooping this
pet vomit right up and luckily this
hasn't been sitting up for too long so
as you can see it was kind of easy for
us to scoop that right up go ahead and
bag that now what we can do is we can
take our BIOS I'm and dispense a few
ounces right on to the area that we want
to treat now the best thing to do is
making sure that we allow the BIOS I'm
to set up for about ten to thirty
minutes depending on how long the vomit
or substance has been sitting for what
that's going to do we're going to allow
the enzymes to go in and kill all the
bacteria properly so we'll see you back
here in about ten minutes now before we
go ahead and scrub the area just one
quick tip here now if this were sitting
up for a couple days and depending on
the severity of the odor and the vehicle
you may need to clean up on the inside
here so one thing we recommend doing is
taking some of the bio zine along with
one of your favorite detailed King
anterior cleaners and using it on all
the materials like your headliners your
seats your carpets just basically
whatever you need to scrub down and then
go ahead with the process of the area
that needs treated now that we've
allowed this we've allowed the BIOS I'm
to set up on here for about ten minutes
or so so we can go ahead with our
scrubbing I'm going to do is I'm going
to take our carpet clean or shampoo
dispense a little bit of water onto the
area then we can go ahead and place
about maybe about a quarter size on to
this area now luckily we were able to go
at this vomit shortly after it happened
so has been sitting up for too long then
we can go ahead and start to scrub the
area down
and a little bit more water to this area
here a little bit more lubrication I'm
going to take a turk towel and wipe the
product right down you see there that
we're definitely pulling up all of that
vomit everything that was just kind of
deep into the fibers of the seat now
again depending on the severity of the
substance it may be good to go back over
this area with a carpet extractor to
make sure that you're really giving a
nice deep shampooing and deep scrubbing
and cleaning again we don't want any of
that bacteria to build up underneath
because again it's not just a nasty odor
but you don't want any of those harmful
molds just lingering on the inside of
your vehicle so there you go guys you
can see it's just as simple and as easy
as that so for more information on our
