hi everyone its Remy welcome back to my
channel so today I wanted to finally sit
down and talk with you guys all about my
scalp psoriasis and what I have been
doing to manage it and get it all under
control I made a video like over a year
ago all about this and I haven't made
one sense so there's a lot of new what
things I'm doing and a lot of changes I
have made a lot of you guys write to me
and you tell me that you deal with scalp
issues as well so I really hope that
this video will be helpful for you guys
so if you enjoy it please don't forget
to give it a thumbs up and also make
sure to subscribe to my channel before
you go and now let's go ahead and get
started okay so first things first if
you don't already know this psoriasis is
actually a gut issue it's not a skin
issue and a lot of people think it is so
they only try to treat it topically and
without realizing that the cause of it
is actually coming from the inside from
our gut so stars this is an autoimmune
condition and it's basically where your
body has antibodies that attack itself
and it shows up on your skin I'd like
red itchy scaly skin and trust me if you
draw psoriasis you're so lucky because
you do not understand the word itch
until you have experienced a psoriasis
niche it really sucks it's no fun at all
and it especially sucks when you have it
on your scalp where your hair is in the
way it makes it that much harder to
treat so the first thing I want to talk
about is how to treat it from the inside
out and really quick disclaimer I'm
obviously not a doctor I'm just sharing
with you guys stuff that I've been doing
so this is just from my own experience
and from my own research but like I
always taught you guys do your own
research make sure you know what you are
doing because everybody's body is
different and we all react very
differently to different things so a lot
of people have psoriasis also have
something that is called leaky gut and
it's basically where your gut has these
little holes in it and when we
eat the food escapes from these holes
and that's not supposed to be happening
so a supplement that is amazing for Lika
and it basically helps to repair the gut
lining is called l-glutamine so yeah
basically this is gonna help to repair
the gut lining help with all of those
holes I was talking about earlier but I
do have to say you can't be taking this
and still eating a bunch of junk food
and processed foods and expecting this
to be like your magical healer
supplement that's not gonna happen you
definitely have to fix your diet and eat
healthy Whole Foods and adding
supplements in like this will help
tremendously now something that I've
read a lot is to not buy al glutamine in
capsule form like I did you're supposed
to buy it in powder form and you
basically like put it in water and you
drink it first thing in the morning on
an empty stomach the reason why it's
recommended that you get this in powder
form and not capsule is because usually
people with psoriasis have to take a
higher dosage than what's recommended on
here so here it says 500 kilograms and
if you have psoriasis you need to take
like maybe double that amount or I don't
know talk to your doctor about it I
usually take two of these I went through
this bottle so quick and it's just all
waste of money so you'll be saving money
and you'll be able to control your
dosage okay the next supplement that is
really good for psoriasis it's a vitamin
d3 and this supplement is really good if
you combine it with the vitamin k2 and
this is something that I watched on a
doctor on YouTube I think his name is
like doctor I think his name is dr. Berg
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure
that's what his name is and he is
amazing I love watching his videos he
gets like straight to the point and he
approaches things in a natural holistic
way which I really appreciate
so most people that have psoriasis also
have a vitamin D deficiency so I have
only been
King vitamin d3 alone I haven't been
combining it with k2 but that will be on
my shopping grocery shopping list um
next time I go to the store the next
thing I want to talk about is actually
not a supplement but it's an oil and
this is black seed oil this is the
bottle I get this from Whole Foods I get
everything that I'm talking about today
from Whole Foods except for like a
couple of things but yeah black seed oil
they say it heals everything but death
it's supposed to be really good for you
and it helps you with any and everything
that's what I've read about it for this
oil and you can use it topically or you
can take it internally as well I have
done both I will tell you this tastes
like straight-up garbage
it tastes just its taste disgusting it
tastes like freaking gasoline ok but if
it's the healer of everything I was
willing to give it a shot I chase it
down with like any type of juice because
when I tell you guys this tastes awful
huh you're supposed to take like one
teaspoon of this every single day I try
to do it every single morning this is
going to really help with inflammation
so if you're not gonna take this
internally I don't blame you because it
tastes bad but if you want to use this
topically it's gonna really help calm
down that red itchy inflammation if you
have that going on and I like to put
this on my psoriasis on those days where
it's just like really flared and this
really helps to calm it down and soothe
it alright the next thing I want to talk
about is actually a prescription
medicine you can only get this from your
doctor's office unfortunately if they
will prescribe it to you but this is
amazing like if you don't want to try
any of the natural stuff and you're just
like look I just need to go get me some
medicine I highly recommend this right
here so this is called tacklin X this is
like a thick oil that you put on to
wherever your psoriasis is flaring up
and this just helps so much with
softening up those scales once I put
this on these skills completely soften
up to the
where I can like wash it off in the
shower and just feel my smooth skin
under it and this just helps to heal the
skin a lot this is one of those like
temporary band-aid type fixes whereas
the natural stuff is actually going to
manage it long-term for you another
thing you can use topically is apple
cider vinegar and coconut oil I will
link the first video I did on psoriasis
down below because I use those two
things in that video two more things I
want to talk about the first is aloe
vera juice or gel I really find that the
aloe just soothes my psoriasis so much
and it helps with the itchiness a lot
and then the final thing I want to talk
about is probiotics I think everyone
should be taking probiotics every single
day I personally don't really think the
probiotics that come in capsule form do
much I rather get my probiotics from
fermented foods and so I eat things like
kimchi sauerkraut fermented pickles
anything that's fermented you can drink
water kefir milk kefir but I have seen
such a huge difference by incorporating
fermented foods into my diet so I know I
kind of gave you guys a lot of
information in today's the video but
psoriasis is kind of a tough thing and
it's tricky to manage different things
trigger it and different people I really
hope this video was helpful for any of
you out there today if you enjoyed it
please share it with anyone else that
could find it helpful and don't forget
to give it a like and subscribe to my
channel before you go thank you guys so
much for watching and I will see you in
my next video bye
