01:33the locks they never did it and in the

01:35end up coming in there and you can

01:37imagine what had happened after that and

01:40so let me say this because I want to

01:56restraining orders and orders of

02:24we are only there to follow up after

02:27they have already violated the

02:29restraining order we are not weak we

02:31can't be proactive you are one of

02:33thousands of people who have a active

02:36restraining order so obviously there's

02:38things that you can do in the state of

02:39Arizona you know if you can break your

02:42leash you can move you can get the locks

02:43change those things are not foolproof

02:46and in this young lady's case I would

02:49have told her as a police officer I

02:51would have a family member I would have

02:52encouraged her you need to have

02:53something to protect yourself with

02:56because changing the locks ain't gonna

02:58stop them from kicking in the door

03:00changing your address ain't gonna stop

03:02me from finding out where you're at but

03:04then when he confront your address

03:06changing and stopping from running image

03:09you somewhere in the city and

03:10confronting you so I'm not blaming the

03:14woman because obviously the dude is out

03:16of his mind but I want people to be more

03:19informed and to have an idea that this

03:22is not a game this young lady is one of

03:25many people that this happens to this is

03:27not a game that's a piece of paper it's

03:30not a force field around you don't be

03:33afraid to get yourself protection don't

03:37be afraid to train and use it especially

03:40when you have your children that's

03:43hanging in the wings of this violence

03:44that can be perpetuated against you go

03:48and get something today if you're

03:51watching this and you have a restraint

03:53against somebody protect yourself today

03:56don't think this won't happen to me

03:58don't fall into the the myth the

04:00thinking the police are gonna respond

04:02when you called them on the phone right

04:03away they're gonna somehow be outside
