guide on a mobile and then I'll show you
how to do it on a computer and this
guide is going to work for any type of
mobile device so deactivating your
account can be a better option than
deleting it because when you deactivate
it you can always go and reactivate it
at any point and go and get all your
posts and everything back so to go and
do this all you need to do is go to the
bottom right and go and tap on menu like
so then what you need to do is scroll
down here and see go into the auction
for settings and privacy go and tap on
it like so and go and tap on settings
then what you need to do is come down to
the account section and go look for
Access and control and go and tap on it
like so then the second option here
we've got deactivation and deletion so
go and tap on it like so and we've got
two options deactivate account or delete
account so go and choose which you want
to do in this case we're deactivating it
as you can see it's temporary and it's
going to be disabled but we can always
go and get it back and you you can
always go and keep using Messenger as
well which is useful so if you're short
go and tap on continue to account the
activation and go and just understand
which pages and profiles will be
deactivated Facebook will then ask for a
reason for your accounting Activation so
go and give one if you like it doesn't
really matter and then go and tap
continue again and then you've got one
more note about before you go and
deactivate you've got all these options
here so read through them and then if
you're sure go out to the bottom and go
and press on deactivate my account just
like so and that's it guys you can then
go and reactivate your account at any
time by logging in with your email and
password if you're using a computer then
all you need to do is go to the top
right and go and tap in your profile
picture and then tap on settings and
privacy and then go and tap on settings
again then what you need to do is go
over tide and you're going to tap on
privacy and then in your privacy page go
over to the left hand side again and tap
on your Facebook information and then
what you need to do is go down to the
bottom and you've got the option for
deactivation and deletion go and tap on
view or just tap on this section here
then as you you can see we've got these
two options here and that's it just
follow the steps as I showed you when I
was doing on a mobile device they're
