hey how's it going folks et here with
another iMovie tutorial this tutorial
was requested and this tutorial is how
to extract the audio out of a video file
so that you can put it on your iPod or
any music player or even burn it to a CD
or whatever
okay so let's find a piece of video with
some audio that I want to extract and
this is an episode of two and a half oh
yeah geez with give me a break man
Victor and hiko simon okay so what
you're gonna do is put the video and do
any editing or possible deletion of
audio or maybe you want to amplify the
actual levels of the audio so you can do
that by following my audio editing
tutorial you can and I'll link above
with a little car with a lion and above
okay so once you get to that point
you're gonna share the video like you
normally would but there's an option you
have to select so I go to share here I
go to file and then the format audio and
video I'm gonna switch it to audio only
and then you can select your format and
I think I'm gonna do mp3 okay so we'll
go ahead and hit next let me change this
title to point five oh yeah geez
and we'll just put podcasts for a
description okay I'm here next we're
gonna save it to our desktop and we're
gonna watch the little circle here as it
starts to process okay so now we're
finished what we're gonna do is minimize
here and go to the desktop okay let's
check out the information here and now
we have an mp3 file of the extracted
