How to drag to application folder on mac

00:48accessibility right here or if this

00:51system preferences appears differently

00:53you can type in the search bar

00:54accessibility

00:59there it is so once you press enter it

01:01will take you to your accessibility

01:03um which will allow you to kind of

01:05change a few things on your mac so

01:08from here you're going to scroll down so

01:10select this kind of scrolling bar and

01:12scroll all the way down to where it says

01:14pointer control

01:18now once you've selected pointer control

01:22make sure that mouse and track pad are

01:24selected

01:27this should be automatic however

01:28sometimes you know if you

01:30adjusted some things in the alternate

01:32control methods this will appear we want

01:34to make sure it's selected to mouse and

01:36trackpad

01:38now these are some cool kind of ways to

01:40see the double click speed spring

01:41loading all that stuff but what we want

01:43to go to is our trackpad options

01:48and here where it says enable dragging

01:50you're going to select that checkbox

01:55from there just select the three finger

01:58drag option

02:02so that's our three finger drag option

02:04right there now these other options are

02:07also sometimes helpful but my personal

02:10favorite is three finger drag and you'll

02:11see why it's really easy to use your

02:12trackpad with this feature

02:14so select ok

02:18and you can exit out of accessibility

02:21and i will show you right now how to now

02:23use that feature so if you're wanting to

02:25drag and drop a file say for example

02:27that's on your desktop

02:30um to another folder what you're going

02:32to do is open up finder so let's just

02:34type in finder

02:40and navigate to wherever you want to

02:43drop that

02:46file or folder or whatever it is that

02:47you want to do so i'm going to have i

02:49want to drop this picture right here

02:51into my documents

02:54so i'm going to select this once

02:56and now using your trackpad on your mac

02:58what you're going to do is use three

03:00fingers

03:01and without clicking or pressing down

03:04just drag over

03:07and let go

03:10now as you can see here

03:12that was really really easy so if you

03:14want to do the same thing once again as

03:15long as it's selected with one click you

03:17should be able to just drag using three

03:19fingers and drop it wherever you want

03:23so that is how you use the drag and drop

03:25feature
