today i'm going to show you how to make
objects move super smoothly in premiere
pro so let's just get right into it
so making any kind of animation smooth
in premiere pro is relatively simple so
we're just going to go to the effects
panel and type in transform we're just
going to drag that transform layer right
onto our little graphic here and then
we're going to scroll down in the
effects control panel so i'm just going
to make a quick animation i'm going to
drag this blue tracer to the end of the
animation i'm going to create a keyframe
for the position and then i'm going to
go to the beginning of my animation and
then i'm going to drag this position all
the way down so you can't see it in the
frame anymore so the first step to
making it smooth is selecting both of
these keyframes make sure they're
highlighted in blue right click temporal
ease in and right click temporal ease
out this makes the keyframes a little
smooth but we're actually going to make
it a lot smoother by opening up this
layer and then we're going to drag these
little circles in to create a nice arc
right in the middle so you should have
something that looks like this and to
make this animation extra smooth we're
going to scroll down we're going to see
the use composition shutter angle we're
going to check this off and then we're
going to crank this shutter angle all
the way up to
360. and then if we play that back you
can see we have a very smooth and motion
blurry animation and it's also important
to note that the separation between
these keyframes plays a big role in the
animation so if i bring this keyframe in
really close and play that back you can
see it's very quick and it doesn't look
very clean compared to when we dragged
this keyframe out for about two or three
seconds you can see the animation is a
lot smoother so just keep that in mind
when you're creating them now to make
your animations more smooth and a little
bit more realistic we can add additional
motion effects onto this transform layer
this could be either through scale
rotation opacity just combining these
different effects together really
creates a realistic animation so just
for reference you can kind of see if i
add a little bit of rotation to this
animation it just makes the overall
animation look really smooth and then if
we add some scale you can really see it
adds that animation and then you guys
can even go a step further and adding a
little bit of a bounce effect with the
position let me know if you do want some
individual videos on these specific
animations because i would be happy to
do them now if you're interested in
creating a super trippy text animation
within premiere pro click the video on
the right that's everything for me guys
peace out
