okay in this video
we're going to be covering some google
sheets basics
we're going to go over grid lines and
borders how to get them in your sheets
now technically by default grid lines
are enabled on
google sheets if you come up to this
view option in the menu
you can see gridlines is checked i'm
just going to uncheck that so you can
see
it's not very noticeable the lines are
very
faint um you what you would actually
want to do if you want thicker lines is
just put a border on everything
so to do that you can come and click in
the very top right in this little square
here and it's going to highlight
your entire sheet or you can also use
keyboard and hit control a that's also
going to highlight your whole sheet
and then you come up here to this border
option in the toolbar
and you click it what you want to do is
all borders here
and that's going to get you this these
thicker grid lines on every cell if
that's what you want to do
if you only want to add borders to
certain rows or columns
you can just come and select that here
you can add a line in there
maybe you want to add a line in here
just like that
all of the options though are up here in
this borders tool
they have plenty of other options so
check it out
