thanks selfracker University for
sponsoring this video it's your man Alex
and in this video I'm going to be giving
myself a mid fade crew cut self haircut
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
using the trimmer I'm going in and
putting in my first guideline which
would be slightly above the ear going
straight back horizontally with a slight
downward angle towards the back of my
head
foreign
[Music]
in with the no guard lever open I'm just
going to be going up half an inch all
the way around my head from this
previous guideline
[Music]
[Music]
foreign
[Music]
[Applause]
part I've got a hard line right in
between here so first I use the trimmer
then I use the no guard lever open and
so now what I'm going to do is go in and
gradually close the lever as I go down
between this hard line right in here and
then as soon as I get to the lever
closed if I need to I'll go back to the
trimmer and knock out the final hard
line right in here using the corners or
with the slight flick out motion

I want to fix up my beard a little bit
and just connect the faded Portion by my
temples to my beard so I'm just going to
go ahead open the lever completely and
then gradually close the lever as I go
up my beard
[Music]
foreign
[Music]
with the lever open I'm going up another
half an inch all the way around my head
from this previous guideline
[Applause]
[Music]
foreign
so now I'm not sure if you can see it
but there's a slight hard line right
here so what I'm going to do is keep the
half guard on the Clipper and I'm just
going to close the lever now completely
and try to flick out this hard line
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
foreign
[Music]
I'm putting on the number one guard and
again I'm opening the lever completely
put in another half inch guideline from
this previous guideline and one thing I
want you to notice is that right here
you can see my head starts to curve
right in here so what I want to do with
the number one guard lever open as well
as the next guard is to go at a 90
degree angle going straight up my head I
don't want to dig into the skin like
this I want to go at a 90 degree angle
like this so that way I can keep the
shape and still have a nice amount of
hair by my part line
okay
[Music]
[Music]
[Music]
so notice how that guideline I went
straight up along my head so now you can
see that even without going up and using
different guards I left a little bit
more length here than I normally would
have if I just dug into the head so you
can see there is that slight angle going
away from my head which is what I'm
looking for and that's why you go 90
degrees off your head take it slow and
let the hair fall into the blades now
you can see there's a slight hard line
right in here so all I'm going to do to
get rid of that hard line go in and
close the lever still using the number
one guard and then flick out this hard
line
[Music]
Aaron
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
now I'm not too sure if you can see but
right in here you can see where this
really large hard line is where the
existing hair length was it's really
bulky and it's very thick in order to
get rid of that I'm going to do the same
exact thing only this time with the one
and a half guard lever completely open
I'm gonna do the same thing so I'm going
up at a 90 degree angle and I'm just
gonna let the hairs fall into the
clipper blades as I go up and direct the
Clipper 90 degrees up and off my head
okay

thank you suffering University for
sponsoring this video so now I've just
gone up with the number one and a half
card lever open now I'm just gonna go in
and close the lever completely and knock
out this little bit of a hard line right
in here
[Music]
so now using my thinning shears all I'm
going to be doing is going up with my
comb I'm going up at a 90 degree angle
and any hair that kind of flows outside
of the comb I'm just going to cut a
little bit while I'm gradually going up
with the comb so I'm not trying to take
off a lot of hair all I'm trying to do
is just blend in this hard line a little
bit more
foreign
[Music]
so before I finish and style the hair
with some product I'm gonna go in with
my comb and some scissors I'm going to
shorten the length just a tiny bit in
the middle and the back of my head by
Point cutting right so I'm just going to
go in and point cut the hair to take a
little bit of the bulk off a little bit
of the length at the same time and just
make sure that this part here is a
little bit shorter than the length in
the front which I want to be the longest
point of the hair
foreign
[Music]
[Applause]
[Music]
so now using some Hans de fucos
claymation just gonna go in and try and
clean up the hairstyle give it the
finishing touches and see if I can go
for some type of side sweep comb over
taking about a pea-sized amount of
product I'm just gonna go in put it in
my hands and emulsify it until it's hot
and heated so I can put it in my hair
hands are on fire so let's push it down
first let's get the back too make sure
you get the back grab the sides grab the
Top push everything down and I'm gonna
push things in the opposite side that my
hair usually goes so naturally it goes
this way so when I'm styling it to start
I'm going to push it in the opposite
direction first and then I'm going to
put a tiny bit more product and push it
in the direction I like to push it so
let's do that tiny bit more not much
like a tiny bit more like half a piece
size emulsify it again get the
fingertips and then let's start to push
it up and over like this starting in the
front going to the back
[Music]
so I've just finished
Style 360.
[Music]
