How to buy zucchini

Gather a basket/bag and head to the supermarket or market of your choice.

Choose fresh, firm, dark green zucchini with smooth skin — avoid pale, waxy looking ones with any bruises, cuts or soft spots. Look for one that is similar in size and shape so it will cook evenly.

Check if the zucchini has been organically grown or not.

Take your zucchini to the checkout counter and make the payment.
