in this video what we're going to do is
react to various well-known actors
talking about how they got into their
hollywood physiques what sort of diet
and training they do so the first person
to start with is to versus stallone so
what kind what do you do to stay in
shape i work out pretty much everything
so now i've got it down to like an hour
a day five times a week but mostly it's
all diet what you eat is what you the
only trains are roughly around an hour
to be honest that was a little bit
shorter than what i expected but an hour
is still fine you can do a great workout
in an hour and i'm assuming that is him
probably specifically talking about like
the weight training i don't think he's
probably talking about like when he has
to get lean for a show and actually do
cardio as well that sounds perfectly
fine he hasn't gone over the top and say
just seven hours a day
so i take it you're not ordering pizzas
for room service how'd you know but you
are right i caught you already i knew it
now um if you eat great really great uh
monday to friday from saturday and
sunday you can turn into the biggest hog
in the universe and you won't gain an
ounce and you get it all out of your
system so i have to do is be good for
like four and a half days during the
week see
there you go take you with a pinch of
salt he's on a tv show he's doing an
interview so what he's morally saying is
you don't have to be perfect all the
time he's not really saying that you can
just eat like a pig on the weekend like
morning till night he's probably saying
he'd probably go out for a couple meals
like on the saturday and then on the
sunday and it won't dramatically affect
your overall progress depending on what
you eat because if you eat a ridiculous
amount of calories then it may but in
terms of like a normal meal out with
family and friends you can probably do
that
do you try and gain a little weight
between film i try to do it believe it
or not but never bulk up full of it i
did it once a fist and i've never had a
more difficult time my life
taking it off oh boy she asked him point
blank do you get out of shape anymore
let's go see he'll let himself go a
little bit but he's not letting himself
go completely fat and the more said it
was so hard to lose and i truly agree
the time that i started um bulking and
gulped like 184 pounds to shift that fat
off was the hardest has ever been for
those you watching you do not have to
get fat to gain muscle you're gonna get
a little bit of fat but you should not
be looking ridiculously high in body fat
over your normal kind of physique
because it's just not beneficial trust
it's just it's not going to get you more
hench if you get super super dirty bulk
fat
anyways next person up is going to be
hugh jackman's let's see what kind of
stuff he says
eating is the key 70 is eating i train
every day but uh i don't do weights
every day i do weights like five days a
week key things like dead lifts and
squats and uh you know obviously bench
press and one arm rows military press
things wow so far i'm agreeing with him
he more or less said that the diet is a
very fundamental factor which is
completely true like so many people
underestimate how much the nutrition and
food actually comes into play you have
to think for most of you watching this
video now that may go to a gym how many
times you've been going to a gym for
years and you look in that gym and maybe
eight percent of the people there even
though you see them they're being
consistent in the gym which is a good
thing they're just physically not
changing much and it's purely because
their diet probably isn't being mastered
so what they're trying to do is out
train like their bad diet which never
works at the very most what's gonna
happen is you may plateau but you're
never gonna saw if your diet is [ __ ] and
you're training as hard as you can it's
just not gonna happen for wolverine did
you do three hours a day
three hours a day so two hours in the
morning and about 45 minutes in the
afternoon yeah i literally rang dwayne
johnson the rock
man i've seen you in some movie i said
what's going on what do i do he's he
went through the diet and it was 6000
calories eating every two hours
he just said that he's 6 000 calories a
day
that is over the top let me tell you
right now let's be real yes hugh jackman
is six foot three according to google
he is nowhere near the rockstars to be
in 6000 calories i've seen him say this
and he's four different interviews he
basically rang up the rock and the rock
literally just told him he's 6 000
calories let's be real we're not even
gonna really talk about if some of these
actors in this video use special
supplements aka you know pd's but i'm
going to talk about that we're going to
talk about more advice in regards to
fitness and diet in general but do you
really think that when hugh jackman rang
the rock the rock said to him just eat 6
000 calories and eat every two hours and
just keep it high protein and that's
more or less it i give the right more
credit than that you know i mean they've
been two different leagues the rock is
not dumb enough that he would just give
you what he does you know he would at
least taper it down to someone relative
of your size and even still i truly
believe he would have a real like proper
nutritionist and bodybuilding coach just
like the rock does for himself so
the 6 000 calories i don't believe that
no alcohol no sugar
pretty much nothing i hate when people
say that like i do know i do nothing all
i do is eat chicken
a meal would look like two chicken
breasts
steamed broccoli so it's still lean and
maybe some tart
absolute ball plop this is what makes
normal people not want to even attempt
to get in shape because sometimes people
who they go to for advice will make it
seem so complex that an average person
just thinks they haven't got a chance
and won't even start this is no way he's
having 6 000 calories and even if he did
an average person wouldn't have to have
that and then he goes on tomorrow let's
say they can't have anything funny he
can never have alcohol he can never have
sugar any kind of carbohydrates and he
says the rock told this even though the
rock many times says he loves carbs
carbs are your friend you know he
doesn't say pigs don't crap all the time
but he says he does eat carbohydrates
whether that's his legendary pancakes
that he has or his or his brownies or
whatever he likes to have his pizza he
eats carbohydrates but anyways next up
let's go on to zac efron someone a
little bit younger and someone has a lot
more to slim around see what he does
plus he's only five for eight so let's
see if his five or eight like routine
and diet is different to these six foot
as we've mentioned already
i had to eat like a ton of food so i had
there's some of these pre-packaged meals
put like six thousand calories into
containers and we're just seeing to me
did you say six thousand calories
you know we're gonna focus on that
let's just go on again first off it was
very unlikely that someone like hugh
jackman would be having 6 000 calories
now we're going down to someone who's
even smaller and shorter
who did build a very good physique for
that um baywatch movie he got a really
good shave that movie however he was not
having 6000 calories i'm seven
right and even if i'm not as active as
him six thousand calories is almost
literally three thousand to three
thousand five hundred more calories
nowadays in a day
it's just not happening jack efron is
not big enough or
all round in terms of muscle mass
high
overall weight to be having that much
calories and one thing most of you that
are beginners that may not be even
fitness properly need to know is that
more calories does not mean more muscle
i mean more gains if you eat crazy more
amount of calories than you need to to
gain weight what's gonna happen is
you're gonna be gaining more fat than
muscle so him saying is six thousand
calories sounds impressive to the the
newbie watching or the person to know
any better oh my god i could never do
that and that is what they kind of want
they want their physique seem so
unattainable that they seem more
impressive it's just like almost every
pr person has told them say you eat 6000
calories because it sounds unbelievable
and it's gonna make people go oh my god
anyways let's go on to see what else he
says
i remember the first day i was in pretty
good shape when i came into this movie i
was skinnier but i was in good shape in
the training which very intense a lot of
a lot of heavy lifting i wasn't getting
that point
he said it there he didn't really want
to go into the training too much because
the average person doesn't care they
don't want to hear how much your routine
was like unless you really want to get
in shape most people just want to hear
something crazy like oh my god i train
seven hours a day and they don't hear
any detail
believe it or not the hardest part was
physically eating that amount of food i
had to put on about 17 pounds you know
you would just have to eat a ton a ton
of calories and it was all hard hard
calories it was a lot of chicken breasts
i was eating so much chicken breast
the hardest part about it was actually
chewing it all so i would just put it
into a blender blend it all up and just
drink chicken
okay
this guy is telling us that
he ate so much chicken that he had to
blend it firstly let's put it out there
there's many other protein source you
could have that's if you want to stick
with lean stuff you could eat card you
there's many other lean meats you could
have
furthermore if we really need to get in
that much protein and it got to the
point we got sick of chicken breast why
didn't just have like a whey protein
shake or any other form of protein
that's maybe lighter on his stomach or
just to switch things up this is just
complete crap i do not believe that he
was blending chicken to drink unless he
blended it and put it into some sort of
soup i just who's doing that no one's
gonna blend chicken up with like oh no
some basic stock and drink it's just not
a nice thing to do i don't believe that
any high act is going to do that but
anyway so don't forget down below write

less talking the most crap or the most
sense uh right now what we're going to
go on to is mark wahlberg he's i love
mark wahlberg i like more so he's
comedies that he does but anyways it's
going to mark wahlberg
uh what's your diet like you said you're
eating chicken but what specifically
like if you get up at three in the
morning what are you eating
i wake up at three i go down in the
kitchen i make egg whites ezekiel bread
almond butter with a little avocado
every morning every morning i go
downstairs i work out for about an hour
with my buddy jonathan i come up i have
a shake and then i have i make a salad
and my food to go for the morning and
then i have turkey burgers and sweet
potato and then i go to the golf course
at six o'clock i play till eight o'clock
then i rush home to meet my wife after
she drops off the kids
we have our little alone time
and then i do whatever else i got to do
wow and then i'm in bed by seven if i'm
being honest that doesn't actually sound
that bad like that sounds like something
i could definitely do he talks about
eating various things like i used to
love turkey burgers i almost i've had
them almost so much now i've kind of
gone off them but i do love turkey
burgers i love sweet potato and the egg
white thing i do the same thing i don't
specifically have his eco bread but
honestly you could have any sort of
bread it doesn't have to be that but
even though to the average person that
may sound crazy that is not that bad of
a diet i could definitely of all the
things that's been said he's been the
most specific so far in terms of what
he's completing the day but that is very
manageable and if you're watching this
thinking that's oh my god it's crazy
it's not actually not let me know down
below if you agree or you think it is a
bit too far but that is definitely
attainable and so far in my opinion
that's one of the most sense olly's
seems the most realistic in my opinion
anyways we're gonna go into hugh
jackman's coach next which is the rock
training for me has become very defining
has become part of my life lifestyle
it's defined me in many ways four
o'clock in the morning i wake up have my
caffeine in the morning four o'clock in
the morning first off before we go any
further when all these actors say they
wake up so early it's not just because
they love it it's because they have to
be on set for like five six am if you're
getting paid millions i would get up at
four o'clock or three am too it's not
that big of a rapid thing yes it's
different to the most nine to fiver
because it's just so drastically early
but as mark warburg said he goes to bed
at like 7pm because he has to wake up so
early it's just like people that work
different shifts you know what i mean
people might say like it's magic like
they they wake up at 4 00 am and then
they stay up and go to bed like 10 11.
they're not they're gonna crash because
their body just gets tired in a day it's
just what happens did it make it seem
like it's magic it's really not
then by 4 30 4 45 i'm doing some sort of
cardio i do this and then i'll have
breakfast and then i will go do all my
strength and conditioning training at a
gym for about an hour and then i'll go
to set between cardio
strength and resistance training
stretching maybe about an hour
i will say is really interesting is that
most of these actors now have been
saying they only really do the weight
training part for roughly around an hour
they're saying they normally keep their
weights around that the rock also did
say that he does um do his cardio as
well so that can take a while but
altogether he's saying his daily routine
is an hour of weight and 45 minutes of
cardio in the morning that is very at
least that sounds sense you would think
that someone like the rock is going to
say something like i train four hours a
day but no he's more than saying that at
his size he can be okay training one
hour of weight and 45 minutes of cardio
if i'm being honest that's not far i do
obviously the rock is a different
specimen than me there's no point in
comparing but that is an achievable
routine that someone could do 45 minutes
okay that's not too bad not too bad
it's not all in one shot so that's
something too important to factor
sometimes when these actors say that
they're doing three hours of training or
four hours train a day it's not all in
one shot which makes it sound more
impressive they may not go into that
detail if you do three hours a day like
hugh jackman says and you do the two
hours bearing in mind you have a trainer
with you there's gonna be rest periods
you may be talking two hours in the gym
isn't crazy long when i train with a gym
partner it two hours is almost short to
be honest because just time gets added
up and you're talking you're working out
and then obviously to do the cardio late
separate oh i think the structure of the
diet all starts with whatever the goal
is the diet is structured and it is a
it's probably somewhere between five and
seven thousand calories a day that's
very
balanced of carbohydrates and fats and
proteins and greens
see the rock city himself firstly
someone of his size that's six foot five
he's between five and seven thousand
calories which means a lot of the time
it probably is five but he's set up to
seven when he's trying to bulk up so say
if he is five thousand calories right
why would a hugh jackman and zac efron
being six thousand when the rock is way
bigger than in all aspects you know i
mean this is when you start seeing when
people are starting to like fudge some
bits of what they're actually doing to
make them sound sound like they're doper
than what they really are i don't even
get why so they don't need to put
themselves on his super high pedestal to
see him even better but yeah he also did
say that he's carbohydrates proteins and
fats he doesn't do keto he doesn't do
low carb and it's more a case of high
protein and just getting the calories in
all right next up we have superman
himself which is henry cavill i think
he's also british right so big up if you
actually are british but let's see what
superman says he has to do to get in
shape when you're going to die that's
superman what does superman eat

he eats a lot of things
name one uh i mean okay it depends if
i'm mass building then i'll i'll eat
burgers and stuff now let's build it
yeah see superman is one of the only
ones so far to really specify this when
you need to get in a lot of calories you
don't have to simply clean like if i
left the full thing up that hugh jackman
said he more or less says he has to have
the 6000 calories but everything's clean
and he said there's actually no
carbohydrates he's just literally he'll
switch out the protein sources he'd say
like chicken steak and fish and he said
if he's lucky he'll get brown rice which
ps but he's more or less saying that he
can only eat those clean meals she's not
true superman himself is saying when he
needs to bulk up and he has the
affordability to eat more calories he
will mix in eating the odd burger i
don't believe you just just eat burgers
i'm pretty sure you just have lean meals
with it but it's more or less saying you
can be a little bit more free with your
diet which is way more accurate than
what some of the other people have said
you do for cardio
no cardia no i run
that's the savory answer yeah so what is
the real answer you
i think they get it i think they do
and he's correct there that form of
cardio is very good for the body it's
very good for your hormones it can do
all sorts of wonders so that sort of
cardio is great do as much as you can
but stay safe kids this is you this is
obviously you with your shirt off now
how long
again i don't know what you look like
beforehand but like how long did it take
to
be that to get to that stage it took um
five months of pre-production training
and that was about
four months into shooting yeah so nine
months
he said it took him nine months to get
into that sort of physique for superman
bearing in mind he was already in shape
this isn't like a beginner going from
[ __ ] to absolutely insanity in terms of
physique like if you have ever seen some
of his movies before superman like
immortals he was already pretty good at
a very good six-pack very good defined
body he was just probably a lot more
like on the leaner trimmer type of
physique whereas superman he had to get
a lot more bulked up and look a lot
bigger so
that sounds realistic from what he was
he doesn't sound dramatic he doesn't
sound silly the only issue is is that he
didn't really mention like zac everyone
did before that he was already in
relatively good shape already because
someone completely naive he's gonna
think that he just woke up and then nine
months later he looked like superman
which is not gonna happen so there are
more actors i would love to cover in
this video but i feel like the video is
getting long enough as it is if you want
