what is up my dudes welcome back for
another quick little channel cg video
today I wanted to try out a new product
by the way this video is not sponsored
by any means wandering aimlessly through
the aisles of Walmart as usual and I
haven't come across this little thing
just basically a Bluetooth adapter for
an auxilary port it's primarily meant
for your car but I guess it would work
on anything with like an auxilary Jack
as a rechargeable battery has a
microphone so you want to take calls and
stuff like that so it's a pretty cool
little device you guys remember the end
of last year I put a new sound system a
new sound system in my PT Cruiser GT I
wired up a new sub and I put a new head
unit in it I got a pioneer d8 some other
head unit and its really nice head unit
was something I didn't realize when I
bought it is it didn't have bluetooth
capability which I was kind of hoping
for but I mean it's kind of a
first-world problem if you know what I'm
saying or the heart broken or anything I
don't really care so has an auxiliary
port which works just fine but bluetooth
is a really nice feature when I first
heard about these I'm like hey that's
kind of a solution to my problem when I
saw this right at Walmart it was like
$8.00 I got to try it so there works
well or not we're about to find out it
has a rechargeable battery inside of it
and it comes with a cable to keep it
charged actually I might be able to plug
it right into my head unit because my
head unit does have a USB port just
gonna test it out and see how it works
to message with the sound quality at all
I know there will be a little bit of a
delay between the music playing off my
phone and it picking up on this and
going through the whole system which
doesn't really matter because when
you're playing music in your car I mean
you're not watching a video or you
shouldn't be at the same time so doesn't
really matter if there's a delay but I'm
just kind of curious to test this out I
figured why not pull out the camera and
take you guys along so I guess without
further ado let's head out to the PD GT
and give this thing a shot it's really
windy out so I'm just gonna set you guys
here and talk in the car but I should be
doing is getting this thing ready for
our first cruise night which is tonight
that's the day I'm filming this it's
Thursday well I gotta try this little
thing out first of course because you
know priorities plus I haven't heard the
sound system in quite some
so I kind of miss some good bass in my
life see what is this this is a blue
piece of cardboard very nice through
these instructions step 1 turn it on
step 2
listen to music 3 enjoy ok so here's
what I actually spits out the Bluetooth
signal here is the little auxiliary port
adapter for it goes in like this and
then that's going to plug into my celery
port here on my head unit then I got the
little USB cord that's gonna keep it
charged I'm gonna try plugging into my
USB port it's kind of a short cord so
that's probably the only way I'll get it
to work I said I got the USB cord
plugged in there and then I got the
actual thing plugged into the auxiliary
port so let's just turn the key see what
happens
ok now what's this doing is it lit up or
does there light on it or something
oh that turns it on and off I think
there's no light on it or anything
though so I don't know if it's on or not
go ahead and go in my settings here
under bluetooth you it shows up it's not
showing up right now press this button
again ok the power button also acts as
an indicator light I don't see a light
in it though oh wait there is a little
little blue light in there ok ok we got
noises now still nothing showing up here
those are just my wireless headphones oh
wait here we go Wow context ok so it
looks like I'm connected let's play some
tunes and see what happens I'm gonna
play an NCS song because I know that's
not copyrighted I love NCS music anyways
I'm gonna turn my Wi-Fi off because that
is not working oh it's working
oh that's dope something I am going to
do is compare it to just having the
auxilary cord plugged in because I want
to see if there's any difference in
sound quality because cheap little
Bluetooth things like this can sometimes
distort things a little bit and just
cause it to not sound as good but we
shall see that song brings back some
memories oh that's cool this button
actually works as a play/pause button
look at this it's kind of delayed but
that's pretty cool
so I could just pause my music there so
if I want to just shut it off do I hold
it oh and it goes dude that's fancy dude
so I'm just gonna let that hang there
plug my auxiliary cord back in put that
baby in

I don't notice anything off the bat
being any different turn the volume back
up

sound quality seems just fine I guess I
give the Bluetooth adapter and ten out
of ten as of now works really good do
you kind of cool part about this by the
way I'm sorry for all the wind so I can
control my musical I'm back you're
listening to the sub cuz I'm a little
more bass

before anybody says that I know the
whole interior my car is actually really
filthy but I literally got the car back
yesterday so I haven't really had a
chance to detail that which I need to do
now because there's a cruise night
tonight so I kind of need to shut my
mouth now I'm gonna get back to work but
I'm gonna check out getting you guys at
a later date
give me my opinion after using this
Bluetooth adapter for a little while
because honestly I'm loving it and I'm
gonna keep using it now for a while the
only inconvenience that I can think of
as of now is the fact that like when I
shut my head unit off I need to shut
this off which is a little bit annoying
but I mean it's not the end of the world
those are gonna start my car because I
want to kill my battery yep there you go
a cheap little bluetooth adapter does
actually work which is pretty freakin
cool I had like no expectations but I'm
actually I'm actually excited about this
I'm gonna use it anyways chuckling you

late Dale alright fooling some stuff for
the end of this video a while ago now I
went today to go put the video together
and get it all edited and get it posted
for you guys and turns out that my
camera is completely dead and footage
that I had on there got corrupted as
well which is kind of unfortunate
because there was some actually pretty
cool stuff on there I lost some pretty
important footage so I'm gonna have to
work around that unfortunately I'm gonna
be getting a new camera possibly later
today I'm gonna go get one but filming
the end of this video here on the iPhone
camera I've been using this little
Bluetooth adapter for quite some time
now probably a week or two I have some
good and bad things to say about it but
overall I want to say right now that I
am super super pleased with it and I am
going to continue to use it I've had no
issues with the adapter I've been really
enjoying using it actually it's kind of
nice not having my phone connected here
all the time having my auxiliary cord
that's kind of always laying around and
making a mess now there were only a
couple things that I didn't really like
about it but I want to make it clear
that they're not like an issue or
anything and it's really picky on my
part to even say it but the one thing is
it just takes a while to turn on and off
and the fact I have to kind of turn it
off every time I get in out of the car I
suppose I don't have to but me being OCD
I have to turn it on and off every time
I get in and out of the car if I didn't
the battery would die and then it had to
charge before it could you know start
back up not a big deal and it's to be
expected
now the other day someone was riding
with me and we were gonna connect their
phone up so we could listen to some
music but we couldn't get it to pair
with
their phone and I think that's just
because it's already connected to my
phone and that's like the device that it
looks for now maybe this one's my fault
and I just don't know what I'm doing but
as far as I can tell you can really only
have one device connected to it without
having to tell it to forget that device
and then reconnect it to something else
isn't really a problem for me because
it's just me it's just my phone usually
and I just connect it every time but if
you had multiple devices like to use the
tablet sometimes or use your phone
sometimes or whatever we had multiple
people in the car a lot of times that
you want to connect different phones and
different devices to you could opposed
to be a little bit of a problem again
that might just be me it's not really a
big deal I'm just being picky at this
point just for the sake of the video
this little adapter has really come in
handy and I highly recommend it if you
guys have any sort of auxilary report
that you want to connect to bluetooth
with you don't have to have an auxiliary
port in your car you can use it for your
stereo at home or whatever something I
did not get a chance to try out though
is the microphone that's built into it
for taking calls and stuff like that I'm
just in the habit of not taking calls at
all when I'm in the car just keeping my
phone on do not disturb or whatever it
is illegal to talk on the phone of
course in New York while you're driving
and text as well so I just am in the
habit of that but if that was something
you want to try I'm sure it would work
well to see am I forgetting to talk
about anything else I don't think so
obviously this is just a cheap adapter
like I said before I got it for like
less than $10 I don't have like any
expectations for it I never did but I'm
sure if you wanted to spend a little bit
more money you could probably get
something a lot nicer this is really
great for the price and it has come in
handy speaking of which I need to get a
new camera later today so I should
probably shut my mouth and go do that I
