01:20so for me to get to my settings i'm

01:22going to be swiping up

01:23from the bottom like this but you might

01:25actually have to swipe

01:26down if you are on an android or a later

01:29model of an iphone

01:31we're going to click here into our

01:34brightness settings

01:35now in order to go up and down here with

01:37our brightness you're just going to

01:38scroll up and down

01:40but to go into the exact settings we're

01:42going to press and hold that

01:44so that it brings up this second set of

01:46menu

01:47on the left down the bottom there you'll

01:49see this dark mode

01:51off sign which is actually our toggle

01:54between

01:54light and dark mode for the entire phone

01:57if i press that right now and it

02:00switches everything

02:01to a to a dark mode that is going to

02:04directly affect the interface of our

02:06instagram let's go back and have a

02:07little look together

02:09and you'll see that i have already

02:11changed this into

02:12a dark mode all the pictures have this

02:14dark background

02:16all the interface down the bottom all

02:18has white icons on a black

02:20background so there is dark mode on

02:23instagram if i want to switch back

02:24at any point go back to your settings

02:27menu for me it's swiping up for you it

02:29might be swiping down

02:31go into that brightness and just switch

02:33that and toggle it back

02:34off so that we're back into light mode

02:37and that is how you toggle between light

02:39and dark mode
